Conceptual makeup artist, Creative Producer – Licensed Cosmetologist and Full Specialist, MeShun “MeTeVa” Vann is a force of creativity and aesthetic application. As a trendsetter, she believes that Diversity is Globall and that… is Beautiful. She is the CEO and founder of MeTeVa Inc; which houses Aesthetica de MeTeVa, an International Aesthetic division providing makeup artistry, hair design, styling and conceptual consultation. Her work has appeared on ABC (WTXL) for series of weekly makeovers, in J’Adore Magazine (Issue #4) advertisement for KAS Collection’s new line W.E.T. (With Exceptional Taste) and DV8 Magazine Online Sneaker Edition.
Trained by the industry’s best Billy B (Master Workshop Beautiful Makeup) and James Vincent (Understanding High Definition) with guest Kevin James Bennett of Makeup Forever and Myles O’Reilly (Essential FX) during The Miami Makeup Show 2008. She taught “Your Wedding in High Definition” at The Wedding Party in April 2008.
In 2007, she was co-coordinator for the NABFEME Celebrity Mother’s Suite for the International Conference in Charlotte, NC for Carolyn Smith (Will Smith), Patricia Elliot (Missy Elliot), Wanda Lopes Coleman (the late Lisa Lopes) and Sharon Benjamin-Hodo (Andre 3000) and a host of other mothers, including the late Dr. Donda West. MeTeVa was Backstage Coordinator for the inaugural HauteLanta Fashion Week in Atlanta, GA and on the makeup team for the Zulema of Bravo’s “Project Runway” Spring Collection.
In July, MeTeVa will be a makeup artist for the 2nd Annual Atlanta International Fashion Week. She is on the creative team and Lead Makeup Artist for “Evolution of Curves” Fashion Event in Orlando, FL. This fall she will be the Makeup Director and Lead Makeup Artist for the launch of Shan Keith Designs in St. Louis. There are more projects being negotiated; MeTeVa is coming your way soon.
