- About Me ...
- Iam in the fashion business for a long time. I am at the moment learning how to draght patterns in the lectra system. I have worked with almost all the portuguese designers, love doing beautiful clothes. At the moment I am planning to set up a small sample room here in Oporto. At this moment I have friends that sew beautifully out of a job I know most of the factories here in the north of Portugal that do mass production, I am interested in working with English Speaking designers to help create their unic garments.
- Fashion Industry Experience
- I sudied pattern making and grading in varios schools in Oporto. I have been sewing since my early teens. I worked in a factory for the last ten years. Here I did patterns, I did the cutting, gave instructions about linings and interlinings. type of thread, etc...did the samples that the clientes requested. Gave instructions to the sewing staff. I controlled all garments before going to the customer .i worked for Roberto Verino, Gant, Noir, Jaeger etc.
- Favorite Fashion Designer or Fashion Brand
- My favorite cliente was Noir, because their designer tryed many styles and their materials were chosen very carefully. I also love Jose Antonio Tenente. Ifind that this designer has not been very fortunate in the Portuguese Market. His designs are very carefully thought out and he knows so much about materials and the acessories to upply to each design. Love his work very much. As a matter of fact he can give my references . t
