About Me ...: Marcus Miller, Makeup Artist Extraordinaire, is a young talent who is painting his strokes of vivid style and visual decorum across the monochromatic canvas of the entertainment industry. As a licensed makeup artist, as well as an experienced stylist to various household name celebrities, Marcus Miller’s illustrious career began as a counter technician for MAC cosmetics. While learning the significance and differences of lines, color, texture and structure, as well as defining the various usages of brushes, pencils and brands, Marcus garnered his professional, makeup certification. Being employed by MAC cosmetics over a five-year time span, afforded Marcus the luxury of being able to perfect his craft, alongside some of the most prolific and creative makeup artists of his era.

Utilizing his years of experience as a MAC cosmetics artist, Marcus made the daring and challenging decision to broaden his creative palette, by working with individuals who would allow him to polish looks that imitated tradition, and yet, celebrated innovation. As a freelance professional, Marcus Miller has been privileged to bridge the gap between star and standard appeal. Marcus Miller’s professional, makeup performance with campaigns sponsored in part by Milky Way Hair, as well as SAKS Fifth Avenue, has allowed him an opportunity to experience detailed, corporate environments, and the expectations that are placed upon all of the individuals who are working together to sell and distribute quality products. These poignant experiences have also opened the doors of opportunity for Marcus to create various facial looks for musicians and songstresses who have performed annually at the BET sponsored awards showcase; in association with The Celebration of Gospel telecast. As Marcus has become quite the artistic fixture on the sets of the Mrs. Maryland USA pageant and Fox television’s, Ambush Makeover series, he has created a following of young models, radio personnel, photographers, designers and art directors who continue to secure his talents and services for their specialized events, publishings and other exclusive productions.
As Marcus Miller continues to travel abroad, utilizing his brushes to reinvent the definition of style, decorum and grace, he is also planting his seeds of avante garde expression. Through a staple of perfecting each line of color, highlighting the shades of beauty that exists within the faces of this many clients, Marcus Miller is creating a career that exemplifies a young man who understands his direction. Humbled by his faith and motivated by his talents, Marcus Miller truly is a Maverick of his craft.
