Do you work in the fashion industry?
I work in fashion
About Me ...
I graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in 2003 with a degree in Merchandise Marketing, professional designation. My career has taken me in and out of the fashion industry several times in marketing and advertising.
On St. Patrick's Day, 2008, Emily Heintz & I started a company called Grene - an eco-friendly guide to the fashion and design world. The concept of Grēne was born out of the desire to merge style with sustainability.

What is your favorite fashion website? (list the web address, NOT the fashion sites name. If you only list the name, the link to your favorite fashion site will not work...)
In a word: green! It's the new buzz word in fashion, Hollywood, and around the globe. People are becoming more and more conscious of the effect their lifestyles have on the planet and this trend is marrying itself with fashion. And we're not talking hemp clothing that looks like a potato sack - eco-friendly couture is HOT - not only for the environment but for your look, as well!

Hi Mailee, my compliments , that is some good work you have mentioed in your introduction.
I have been in the Fashion industry for 18 years on the manufacturing and sourcing side of the supply chain in India . My company has Manufacturing and sourcing operations in the Indian Sub continent, with offices in India and Bangladesh. With the retail scenario in India becoming really big and everyone from the Zara's to Wall Mart trying to get a piece of this action, my focus has changed from Exporting from India , to looking at retail brands who want to come into India. There is also a huge potential of using India to integrate the value chain . You can look at sourcing , retail and other supply chain functions. Am looking for partners to team up with . You seem to have the right experience, which is why i am taking the liberty to write such a detailed mail . If this if of any kind of interest to you, please have a look at my web site
www.added-dimension.in . With India being one of the emerging and growing markets with a population with large disposable incomes , there is huge potential for Brands from the US coming in to the retail Scenario. My company has the network and expertise to find the right parners in India who can take up a master franchaiss liscence and help the US retailer get a brand presense here.
Great having made contact with you , I look forward to hear your point of view on any kind of entrepreneurial opportunity that we can explore between our two companies.
Cheers
Yes, definitely! The site is up - it's in phase 1, so very simple, but we're already working on phase 2 and looking at adding a shopping cart later this year.
I'd love to connect at some point and see how we can help each other out.

Hi Mailee! I thought I'd friend you since I'm planning on being in Denver a couple of times a month & shooting there too.
I'm a photographer and I also run a couple of online stores selling apparel (mostly).
I love your "Grene" idea...works well on lots of levels.
Looks like your site is down. I'd love to see what you're up to when it's up.
