About Me ...: I'm currently putting together a new athletic clothing label (fight wear)with a wide variety of sizes and accessories. I'm looking for designers- no experience necessary, just a great attitude and knowledge of clothing design/sewing, etc. I will be focusing on creating practical fight gear for those in volved for the sport as well as street wear for fans/fighters.

Fashion Industry Experience: My experience is in product promotion (as a pro athlete, I want to promote my own label). And I have 10 years of business experience.

Fight Wear needs better design!

As a women in MMA (that’s mixed martial arts for those out of the whole fight training loop), I see the need for better mma apparel and gear- for women and men! Its an exploding market and an exploding sport, however fashion has just not caught on to this yet. MMA gear remains to be poorly designed in the way of practical training use. Thanks for taking interest in my services. Your idea sounds great. Check out www.alibaba.com. Maybe you can find a factory that will handle the designs and the manufacturing. Alot of factories now are able to take an idea and translate it into the design(sketch). Also,sometimes a design may not be workable for production so working directly with the factory will save cost in the beginning stages of starting your buisness. Hopefully the groups that we created tonight will help your business. You are welcome to utilize the group as you see fit. In all honesty, it is some times hard to get discussions started.
