About Me ...: I love fashion, I screen print, felt, embroider, sew, reconstruct, sew from scratch. I am an artist and put my art on clothing either by embellishments such as applique, felting, embroidering, computer or screenprinting....I am working on my small company designing unique clothing for youthful SPIRITS....I participate in local bazaars, and have clothes in some boutiques.

Fashion Industry Experience: I am working on my own company, but would love to work for a company for industry experience.

By the way, I agree with you 100%. It would be a good idea for you to "first" work for an established clothing company. Learn what they do right and what they do wrong, before you go into business for yourself. Let them pay you as you spend time "learning".
