About Me ...: I am the owner of Houston-based consultant company, Diamond Icon Image and Styling Consultants. We specialize in personal shopping, image consulting, fashion styling and wardrobe organization. I am a member of the Association of Image Consultants and also a member of the Direct Selling Women's Alliance. I also am a freelance writer reporting on Houston Fashion Trends for The Examiner.

Fashion Industry Experience: I began informally styling family, friends, co-workers and friends of friends several years back until I took a leap of faith and attended the Fashion Image Institute and received formal training and certification in personal shopping and fashion styling. I decided to take a risk and start my own company in 2010. I am gradually building my business and growing a client base here in Houston.

What is hot in fashion this year?: This year camel and neutral tones are in fashion, ruffles and lace have also made the ultimate comeback. Casually, the motorcycle look is definitely in with leather jackets in every design being seen paired with leather motorcycle boots. Plum hues for makeup is in fashion for Fall 2010 along with vampire red lips and more natural foundations. Clogs and peeptoe booties are also "it" footwear this year.
