About Me ...: Hello Fashion world! My name is Lauren and I am addicted to fashion and all things fashionable! This time last year I was a sophomore at a prestigious university majoring in political science and minoring in psychology with aspirations of becoming a corporate lawyer. About mid semester I realized I didn't love where I was going and quit! I transferred to the Art Institute of Atlanta to major in fashion and its the best thing I've ever done. I love this industry and nothing makes me happier than emersing myself in the art. So that's me in a nutshell!! I look forward to networking and making long lasting business relationships!!

Fashion Industry Experience: I am currently an student at the Art Institute of Atlanta for fashion/retail management
I've interned for the wardrobe department of major movie in summer 2008
I've done some actual styling around metro atlanta, but im dying for more!

What is hot in fashion this year?: The beautiful thing about fashion is that trends tend to repeat themselves. In the urban world retro 80's is at the top of the list. Form fitting jeans, graphic tees, and gaudy jewelry!
On the more conservative side, a re-vamped 1950's and 60's style that's sexy and stylish without looking dated. High waisted pencil skirts, vests, double breasted jackets and of course oxfords!!!
