About Me ...

Kristina Benshoff of "Provocation Designs" studied fashion design at The Savannah College of Art and Design(SCAD). In the past she has worked as a graphic designer and an Assistant Merchandiser for the Wormser Company, a women and children pajama company. She is currently a freelance designer and is also working on her fashion line, Provocation.

Fashion Industry Experience

I have been involved in the rigorous fashion course study under the tutelage of experienced members of the fashion community. During this time I have been trained and gained extensive knowledge in the areas of pattern making, draping, sewing, illustration, computer aided design, and graphic design. I was the 2002 recipient of the Karin Shier Memorial Scholarship. I was also chosen to represent the college in the International Gen Arts Competition.

My job responsibilities included:
Working directly with designers and merchandisers developing concept boards and seasonal line sheets.
Planning and formulating research and development of potential product lines based on the current customer base and market trends.
Executing designs for private label and licensed sleepwear.
Graphic design, print and pattern development using CAD systems.
Flat sketching and masking bodies for the new seasons.
Maintaining a fabric resource and PMS color library to support seasonal inspiration
