About Me ...

I am a very nice, out-going young lady who likes to move to new heights. I plan to be a fashion designer or have an occupation I like in the fashion industry and someday be a fashion mogule. I have big goals and am always expanding them because i feel that there is nothing out of my reach (as long as i work hard for my goals).

I know that with dedication, someday, i will leave a HUGE mark in the fashion industry.

Fashion Industry Experience

I am currently a college student majoring in Fashion Merchandising / textiles. In a few years I will work on a Fashion design degree. I am a sophomore in college and the future's looking bright!!!!!!

I have been to workshops and seminars put on for students by FGI (Fashion Group International). I found the one in last Nocember to be very informative and was given an inside scoop from individuals working in fashion. Also while there, in Chicago, other students and I saw a fashion shows which were very interesting.

Favorite Fashion Designer or Fashion Brand

so many.....I love the Babyphat brand (it embraces being fabulous)

What is hot in fashion this year?

BOLD, bright colors (keep some balance in it though) or neutral colors look really to me.. Belted shirts/jackets/tops are still IN. I observe the fashions bought by my friends and family (a lot wear unban fashions). I love the unbran look for females is incoporating a lot of class into the style. I still love the fitted shirts for males.

For the Summer, when it's hot out and you decide to hit the beach cut-out swiming suits are nice and appealing. One shoulder dresses are showing up, "Statement" jewelery (from what i see are really making statements,lol) They're cute to me with the right outfit though i have yet to try that look)

For fall, high waisted pants (flair or skinny), ruffled tops, I personally like bohemian-style bags also. Ruffled shirts are still cute as well as the high-waisted pants with suspenders.

For winter, right now IDK, but usaully what is hot in fall can still be functionable in the winter but keep your clothing warm.
