Textile recycling originated in the Yorkshire Dales about 200 years ago. These days the 'rag and bone' men are textile reclamation businesses, which collect textiles for reuse (often abroad), and send material to the 'wiping' and 'flocking' industry and fibres to be reclaimed to make new garments. San Jose Fashion Week said… - I would think the idea would be to develop mid priced collections, license out lines using new designers they sign, under their label. Retailers such as H& M have signed designers, upcoming and lesser known to give themselves Designer status rather then just being retailers, creative marketing. I don't expect high end designers like Chanel, Gucci to all of a sudden be available at your mid market department stores, their Brand makes that impossible.
There are many ways to look at this...
