Under normal circumstances, I would suggest that you stay with investment banking. Certainly 2008 has been a bumpy ride for that industry. However, "all" industries are taking a hit on the chin...

If you post a blog message it will appear in your profile area and for a short time on the main page of this site. That is a good way to allow other members to view your thoughts on fashion trends, style, etc.

About Me ...: I'm from Florida, finishing my up degree in Finance, and just accepted a job at an investment bank in New York that will hopefully pay the bills. Having said that, what I really want to do is get into the fashion industry, more specifically the PR side. I realized financial modeling and Bloomberg aren't really what its going to make me happy in the long run. I hope to use New York as an avenue for networking and connections in an inspirational industry I know very little about. I am a very hard worker, motivated, determined...traveled the world, getting a masters in 4 years, I managed to find a job on wallstreet in this year...

Any advice would be greatly appreciated of how to break in giving my background. Big magazines, Big labels, I still want to keep the glamourous lifestyle but I basically am willing to do anything
