- Growing up in Detroit didn’t offer the most creative atmosphere for
designing fashions. In order to get away from the mainstream, you have to really think outside of the box. And you can’t get much further out there than men’s lingerie. Up to now, the concept of “men’s lingerie” didn’t exist, except for maybe boxer shorts with hearts on them. And there’s nothing sexy about boxer shorts. But men are in fact very sexual beings, and take the act of making love very seriously. So I wanted to focus my designs on appreciating and celebrating the male sexuality.
Jewel Postell and Company, Michigan East Design House presents a private collection of lingerie just for men. Playful, fun and sexy, the line is designed for building stronger relationships – whether through light-hearted foreplay, from-the-heart romance or heart-pounding sex. The first release of the collection, ForPlay, seeks to grab attention in the one place men want to be grabbed the most.

Playful, fun and sexy, the line is designed to build stronger relationships. The first release of the collection, ForPlay, seeks to grab attention in the one place men want to be grabbed the most.
“ForPlay designs are fun and sexy little outfits for the most prized part of the male anatomy,” says Isabella, owner and lead designer. “Stunning tuxedos, silky kimonos and playful outfits inspire togetherness - whether through light-hearted foreplay, from-the-heart romance or heart-pounding sex.”
Jewel Postell expands the concept of “men’s lingerie” far beyond traditional boxer shorts with red hearts to a new level of sensuality, and sexuality. Marketed to both men and women, the line’s purpose is to spark romance that will help sustain long-term, committed relationships.
“Men are very sexual beings, and take the act of making love very seriously. So I wanted to focus my designs on appreciating and celebrating the male sexuality,” explains Isabella. “And what better way to do that than through men’s lingerie.”
The first ForPlay designs to be released in June will include a tuxedo and a suit –both include a jacket, pants, shirt and vest – made from velvet, summer weight wool and cotton blends, and a kimono set of pants, shirt and kimono jacket made of quality silk-cotton blends. All garments are specially tailored to uniquely fit the most sensual part of the male body.
“ForPlay will lead Jewel Postell into a realm of lingerie with limitless opportunities, and desire,” says Isabella. “Join me in honoring men’s sexuality with the first line of serious lingerie designed just for men – and those they love.”
