- My name is Jason Lee and I am the Artist Creator of Subrage. Subrage is a brand which reflects the passion of Art, Clothing, and Culture. The meaning of the word Subrage, is the rage of the warrior from within. It is the truth of your inner soul to discover what it is that you truly honor. For myself, Art is not only a dedicated craft, but it is a way of life which has shaped and molded every aspect of who I am today. I eat, breath, dream, and will forever live as an Artist, and so this brand came very natural to what kind of mark I want to leave in this world. I have been an Artist my entire life, yet I have never shown the world my highest potential of Artistry. I created Subrage to showcase the highest degree of quality I have achieved thus far in life as an Artist.
Subrage is about the creative Artist in us all. We all yearn to stand unique within the visual respect of others. From the clothes that we buy, to the color of the car we drive, we are all Artists of our own life. I am here to earn the respect of society through my Artwork. Art is an expression of who we are and what we represent to the world. I have created Subrage Brand to showcase my highest quality of Art to not only strike visual attention, but to teach people about progressive Art which tests the limitations of creativity. The creative market is flooded with an abundant amount of Art, and in order for an Artist to stand alone, he or she must reflect a tremendous degree of skill which can earn the respect of people.
This brings me to Culture, which is the ultimate inspiration to the conceptual thoughts behind Subrage Artwork. There is no greater influence to my Art, then the culture of our society we live in. From the different people of the world, to the music that we hear, we live in a vast world of beautiful culture, which inspires me to create Artwork which will remain classic forever. With Subrage, the goal was to combine and bring together all aspects of youth oriented culture from Hip Hop, Rock and Roll, Action Sports, along with all aspects of how Urban Culture relates to life. There has never been an Artist or brand that has accomplished this goal, and I created Subrage to be the first. The beauty of the progression of Art is what drives my passion to leave my mark in this world as an Artist, and the most important aspect of why I created Subrage, is to show the world what I was born to do.
- Fashion Industry Experience
- I am the Creator of my Signature Clothing Line called Subrage. Subrage Debut it's first Fashion & Art Showcase at Project Ethos 7 "Pop Universe" in Hollywood, on September 26th, 2008. Jason Lee explores the progression of Fashion by bringing his innovative Art to life on clothing.
"I can see that the future of Fashion lies within the strength of Art. You have to remember that Fashion is only a small aspect of Art, and when it comes to creating a strong unique image in fashion, you must look towards striving to achieve the highest degree of quality that has never been accomplished. I will change the Fashion World by bringing Art to the forefront of how we dress to project our own unique image in this world."
