- I am a mother of two and a grandmother of two. I have benn sewing since I was 9 yrs old. I have always designed and made my clothers because I strive to wear clothes that now one as seen before. I will take a simple pattern and put my twist to it to make my own. I am now designing a line for Full-Figured Women (the forgotten one). I am successful in the things that I have shown at

This competition is for emerging fashion designers to compete for roundtrip airfare, hotel accommodations and tickets to Couture Fashion Week at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City.
