- About Me ...
- My name is George Akkad and I am an international Creative Director working at Toni&Guy and BBC. I am an educator at heart but my passion is creative session work relating hair to abstract fashion.
I work independently with top designers in London, Paris,Milan, LA, New York and Dubai and this relationship I have with the fashion world fuels my artistic vision for my own creative work. My approach is unique in that I work with challenging ideas and I manifest these into hair.
I began my journey into the fashion world 15 years ago initially with the artistic team at TONI&GUY working on shows like London fashion week, mainstage and salon international.
My first shows I was thrown in at the deep end with designers like Giles deacon and William Tempest working alongside the Toni&Guy artistic team. Today I work independently as a session stylist with top designers such as Dior, Chanel,Gucci, Fendi, Prada, Marc Jacobs and Burberry.

- I have experience on television with such shows as, ‘Britain’s next top model’ on Living TV as well as Paris Hilton’s best friend on Dubai TV. This gave me an insight into the complexities of a live studio and the responsibilities of the creative style in this media.I am passionate about fashion as I can see the hair as a fabric. I enjoying doing Runway show.
