- The Arts University College is one of the UK's leading specialists arts universities. As well as our full time degree programmes, we also offer summer courses in Costume and Fashion Design to international students and those within the fashion industry, This summer, AUCB is opening its Costume Department and workshops to professionals and students who are involved with the design and construction of period costume garments for performance.
With highly acclaimed specialist teachers and dedicated learning
resources, you can choose from a selection of short summer
courses designed to inspire and educate you. Written by leading
costume academics, the summer portfolio of courses is unique
and not available anywhere else in the world. Courses include 3D Textiles and Surface Embellishment for Fashion, 19th Century Steampunk Frockcoats and Female Tailoring of the 1940s/50s.
The Arts University College also offers study abroad costume
courses, lasting from 10 weeks to one year, giving you the chance
to study with full-time students on BA (Hons) Costume with
