About Me ...
From Florida to Georgia to Virginia, relocation for Emily Heintz was a form of education outside of the classroom. Scholastically Ms. Heintz shined as well, obtaining her undergraduate degree on academic scholarship at the prestigious Grady College of Journalism at the University of Georgia. After graduating, it was no surprise to friends and family that she moved to across the country to Los Angeles to pursue a career.
After several years working in the fashion industry as a buyer and store manager, Ms. Heintz enrolled in the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM). Her professional degree in Merchandise Marketing fueled her “passion for fashion” and shortly after graduation, she launched an online shopping network called Label Los Angeles with former classmate, Katie Bogue. The business partners built a thriving retail website that focused on Los Angeles based designers and were featured in major fashion publications including California Apparel News, WWD, InStyle and Lucky. Ms. Heintz was also chosen as a SheBusiness Small Business Institute of Technology Finalist for her entreprenuership work at Label L.A. Ms. Bogue currently consults at Grene and is in charge of the private label merchandising division.
Ms. Heintz also works as the Director of Business Development at the California Fashion Association (CFA). The CFA is a non-profit business-to-business organization formed to address issues of concern to the apparel and textile industry. Members of the CFA build a collective voice for the industry’s continued growth, prosperity and competitive advantage. In addition to facilitating information to members through , strengthening communication with members, ms. Heintz also helps grow the membership by reaching out to some of the nearly 9,600 firms involved in fashion related businesses.
In her latest venture, Ms. Heintz directs her motivation, inspiration and dedication to incorporating her environmental beliefs into her love for shopping and fashion. She recently converted to a vegan diet and has been incorporating eco-friendly practices into her daily life for years. Grene allows Ms. Heintz to embrace her inner hippie while still recognizing the importance of style. She is able to utilize her many years of experience in retail and contacts in the fashion industry to build a business that can really make a difference. She hopes that other devoted shoppers will open their eye to their choices and decide to be green AND fabulous.

Hi Emily, my compliments , that is some good work you have done .
I have been in the Fashion industry for 18 years on the manufacturing and sourcing side of the supply chain in India . My company has Manufacturing and sourcing operations in the Indian Sub continent, with offices in India and Bangladesh. With the retail scenario in India becoming really big and everyone from the Zara's to Wall Mart trying to get a piece of this action, my focus has changed from Exporting from India , to looking at retail brands who want to come into India. There is also a huge potential of using India to integrate the value chain . You can look at sourcing , retail and other supply chain functions. Am looking for partners to team up with . You seem to have the right experience, which is why i am taking the liberty to write such a detailed mail . If this if of any kind of interest to you, please have a look at my web site
www.added-dimension.in . With India being one of the emerging and growing markets with a population with large disposable incomes , there is huge potential for Brands from the US coming in to the retail Scenario. My company has the network and expertise to find the right parners in India who can take up a master franchaiss liscence and help the US retailer get a brand presense here.
Great having made contact with you , I look forward to hear your point of view on any kind of entrepreneurial opportunity that we can explore between our two companies.
Cheers
