About Me ...

Now I Can Breathe Normal, Fulfilling My Own Dreams
Being in my early forties, I’ve considered myself extremely hungry for more. I can breathe and take time out for my own personal dreams and goals. I’ve been taught all my life that it is never to late to pursue your dreams and goals in life. This will be a fresh start for me after nineteen years of raising my son. I made a promise to myself after giving birth to my son to consider his life first and leave mine on hold. My son is now going into his second year of college, which allows me to breathe a little better in order to concentrate on my own personal dreams and goals. My entire life has always been filled with an eagerness for the fashion and beauty industry. I’ve increased my skills and talents on the finance side for over 20 years, which made my choice of choosing the proper major much easier within the fashion and beauty industry. I knew I wanted to do it all and also felt comfortable with what I knew without a question. I’ve considered my interest in several areas of the beauty industry. I’ve decided to enter the beauty world by going to a beauty school of my choice. In researching several schools, I decided to attend Empire Beauty School as a cosmetologist to open up the whole world of beauty for myself. In my life experience, I wanted to focus on the entire world of beauty and understanding the simplest to the most complicated studies of cosmetology. I wanted to continue with what was familiar to me in making this transition from finance to beauty light weight in accomplishing my goals and dreams. My interests together made it easy for my gift to almost come to life. Throughout my years of working in the Finance world, I have also been a wedding coordinator, hair stylist, make-up artist, event planner and a personal stylist. I am expecting Empire Beauty School to fulfill my passion on a more intensive scale of knowledge on the body from head to toe. I am looking forward to great success in furthering my steps and purpose in life. I want to become a better me that no one has ever seen before. I have a great eye for the fashion and beauty that I can benefit from of my choice studies. Throughout the years I have been purchasing all types of fashion and beauty magazines in order to give myself a better look into the look of today, yesterday and tomorrow, such as InStyle, Glamour, Elle, Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Bazaar, W, Essence, Marie Claire, Lucky, Runway, Latina, Allure and Hairstyles magazines. Having this talented ability has caused an urgent build up of my hopes and dreams in reaching my goals and making it a great success. I question myself for assurance in my decision and say would I do this for free if the opportunity presented itself because of my talent alone. My answer to this question was “yes”. If I could do this for free and be happy, how great would it be if someone else thought my talent was worth more than that? Thinking about my future success gives me chills and bring tears to my eyes that one day, I will own this dream and call it my achieved success. My commitment to my education is strong and I know that if it is accomplished, I will be able to earn a solid grade point average, and graduate with the skills and experience I will need to build my career in the world of beauty. I am eager to begin this new stage of my education and look forward to all the challenges involved. My only left hope would be that it won’t end here with just my own personal goals and dreams, but to make sure the love I have for the fashion and beauty industry would trickle down to touch people around the world in making them feel great about themselves. We all together will live life to the fullest and just simply breathe.
