- Everyday is a fashion show for me, or most days. I love "rebirthing" items in my closet into something they've never been before. I dont like it when an outfit looks easy. It can look great but give us least two original pieces. High fashion mixed with everyday fashion is my favorite look. For example, a fur stole paired with your Vegas bathing suit for a day at the pool. Go with it. It looks better than it sounds. Highheels are my biggest weekness. Weekness because I would rather buy a pair that I am deeply in love with than eat for the rest of the week. You can always find cheap ways to eat, fruits and veggies!! Go raw .. And juice. I also am big on health. My currenet dream as of 8/29/11, is to have a line of heels made from recycled materials, old leather from a car or scrap metal shaped into a piece to put on the shoe. Also I want to get in touch with Joey O, shoe designer or Cole Haan Nike Air designer, to make a line of heels that will withstand the beating of a girl out on the dance floor. Our shoes last about 4 outings. Not enough!! I love them and buy them for a purpose, so if some how we could come up with that.....life would be complete. PEACE LOVE FASHION
- Fashion Industry Experience
- Went to FIDM Los Angeles for 2 months. Worked for Afroman Productions, skateboard company, July 2000-Jan 2002. Made costumes for their models during trade shows. Also designed a line of skate t-shirts for girls. A few styles were sold at a local shop on Ventura Blvd, Studio City, CA. Then I worked at American Apperal, the pre-stores. Front desk, accounting, sales, design, a little bit of everything. Loved working there but had plans to move to Orange County. Once I got here I made items here and there for myself and friends. Untill October 2010. Afrochix was born. We are three girls that proudly don on blond afros while attending an event. We recently worked at EDC, Electric Daisy Carnival, hyping up the crowd, spreading smiles and fun. I am the stylist and nutritionist for the group. I'm also an Afrochix:) Now that we are getting more bookings my talent needs to excel dramatically. Everyday I research new trends and make a new outfits for us to wear. On the side of all this, I make earrings to have extra income. Never stop creating because life gets dull if you do.

- What is hot in fashion this year?
- This year like other year has brought back an older styles, embracing their beauty while giving them a modern fit and flow. The color red is firery as ever, Michaels Kors egnites the flame for this year. Polka dots is the gem of pattern, my favorites include, Stella McCartney, Dolce and Gabbana and Gucci. Fur is a tremendous upsale in this year's fall lines, jackets, accents and shoes. Timeless if you ask me. Another big trend hitting this fall is the very chic Mod. Versace, Prada and Aquilano.Rimondi have caught my eye. Winter white is angelic, while geometric patterns are sharp and hard hitting. We should never be afraid to try something new. It's not always what you wear but how you wear it. Own it and you got it.
