About Me ...: Pastry chef turned jewelry designer (I got tired of those 4:30 am shifts!) I live in a wonderful beachside community with my boyfriend, our chocolate lab, two whacky parrots and a beta named Abigail. I also work as a private chef and aid for a family with an autistic teenage son.

Fashion Industry Experience: I've been creating and selling my line of chokers for only 6 weeks. Mostly to family and friends and the occasional grocery store checkout girl! And now I've just added my line to a really great boutique in Newport- Patina! I hope to be at Fashion Island soon if this upcoming meeting goes well. Wish me luck !!

What is hot in fashion this year?: Jeans are always awesome. I also like those cute little short coats. An open neckline would show off one of my chokers quite nicely :)

I would appreciate any tips you could give me about approaching retail stores with my jewelry. For instance, how did you present your jewelry, did you have to have contracts prepared ahead of time and what knid of questions did they ask you or information the buyers requested?
