About Me ...: I currently attend FIT and plan to graduate next year with my Associates Degree in Fashion Design.
I work for an Advertising company, but would really like to work for the fashion industry. I am having a really difficult time because of my lack of experience within the industry.

Fashion Industry Experience: None- eventhough I was once a sales assisant (when I was about 16 years old)

What is hot in fashion this year?: I am aiming for the classic/sophisticated/cleaner/tailored look.

Glad to see that you are taking fashion courses and would like to move from advertising into fashion. Maybe you can get lucky and find a job that incorporates both fashion as well as marketing. I see that you have found the FIT gruop on this site. Sorry that we do not yet have too many members in that group. Hopefully more people from FIT will join in the future. If you have friends in class, please tell them about this new fashion network. It would be GREAT to have more students from FIT as members.
