- Ive been the owner of small clothing brand, Stript Casual Couture for the last 4 years. My line of apparel and accessories is carried in several boutiques in Southern California and I have a collection of t-shirts on line for marketing purposes. I wanted to start a line of clothing because it is one of my passions and decided to see how far I could take it. As anyone in this industry knows, it can be quite a challenge to get a brand or line recognized even if you're spending tens of thousands of dollars. I'm doing things my way and have had great success.

- Fashion Industry Experience
- I launched a small collection during spring Fashion Week in LA 2 years ago, through a showroom in the LA Marketplace. But quickly learned that it's best to be very careful about whom you choose to partner with or use as a sales rep. A good sales rep can be very hard to find and if you have differing goals things can go awry quickly.

- What is hot in fashion this year?
- I don't like telling people what is hot or will be hot in fashion. What's hot is up to the individual to decide. Being yourself, and independent is the most fashionable thing a person can do. We've all seen what the glossy magazines say is hot and can probably agree that a lot of times we say to ourselves, um....No, not for me! Confidence is the hottest thing to have as a staple in your wardrobe.
