- I'm a writer that works in the fashion industry. I work for magazines, runway shows, modeling agencies, web sites, blogs, etc... I have 2 sons. They are my priority in life. They are also my shopping buddies because they keep me on track. I studied literature and creative writing in college and am currently working on my masters in both as well as a 3rd bach. in visual communications-graphic design. I studied accounting but found it boring because everyday was the same which is why I concentrate on fashion because it is always changing. I am now starting a digital Fashion magazine called DeWinter which marries Art, literature, film, dance, with fashion. Check us out in June 2012 at DeWintermag.com.

- Well for the upcoming season there is chokers, touches of lace, slit up to there skirts (my personal favorite), maxi skirts paired with cozy sweaters, rust color coats, Jade green and working girl dresses, polka dots and granny plaid, bright pants, chunky sweaters with gauzy skirts, camo inspired, mustard and bordeaux colored items, Peplum blazer/coats, color blocking, colorful fur, bold gold, etc...

I have been working over three years, because i have not only magazines, but Trades Shows, Online magazines, Model Management and a few other fashion related businesses. It is not easy. For a mag it is best to be accredited in the industry, in many areas, with schools of journalism helps, you should be recognized as press media for a start. Be registered with an INNS and be trademarked registered.
