Share 'How to get sponsorship for fashion events?'

I would like to know how to go about getting sponsorship for a fashion event. Because, i'm just starting out and i do not have enough money to fund the event, i would appreciate any ideas as to how to go about it. I have a great idea to help upcoming designers in my country to showcase their talent. Any ideas??? I'd really appreciate it
