Yesterday, I wrote an article called "Social Bookmarking Fashion Websites". Today, I wrote an article called "Viral Marketing For The Fashion Industry". Who knows what I will write tomorrow... Anyway, after writing these two articles, I realized that I should post them here in the fashion marketing group.
In addition to social bookmarking and viral marketing, what types of online marketing strategies do you use to promote your fashion business?
Also, you are welcome to make comments or suggestions regarding the use of social bookmark sites and the use of viral marketing techniques.
Please list your thoughts and suggestions in the comments section below.
Polyvore.com is a great way for fashion brands and retailers to virally marketing their products!

I write extensively about online marketing, social media, online PR and search engine optimization on our blog at FashionablyMarketing.Me. Strategies are dependent on the goal. Is the retailer trying to attract more wholesale accounts or build a large retailer customer base? Polyvore is a great marketing tool for retailers with e-commerce sites. If a retailer has a blog that written for consumers, they can use Kirtsy, StumbleUpon or Digg (it benefits SEO thru linkbacks). I wholeheartedly believe that every brand needs to understand organic search engine optimization (SEO) beyond how it affects a blog, they need to understand how it benefits their retail site. Changing URL structures and optimizing product descriptions will boost search engine visibility and drive more organic traffic. Brands & Retailers should seek to know their customers and participate in the forums and communities were they exist. Great starting discussion, I hope to see more threads like this.
