Conscious Fashions Internship Program Seeks New Star Interns

We are an art-driven clothing line hiring for an immediate intern. You must be a computer savvy, educated individual.

Conscious Fashions, a Los Angeles based graphic tee shirt brand seeks a motivated, hard working, and driven
intern to fill an open position in our internship program. During the program
the intern participates in all departments of a clothing brand, and over the
course of 13 - 26 weeks will work with the owner, assisting all departments,
work on marketing projects, and have the opportunity to participate at fashion
markets and shows, including occasional tradeshow and event trips.

 This is a non-paying position that could lead to a paid position and is ideal for anyone who is looking to learn the ins
and outs of the fashion industry. Opportunity to learn
other aspects of the fashion industry such as styling, marketing and
merchandising are available to the right person. Very Important - Please only

position.

Qualifications: Strong desire to work in the fashion industry, committed,
detailed oriented, able to multi task, great communication skills, and good
computer skills. Candidates with knowledge on Photoshop, Illustrator,
Wordpress, Excel a plus. MUST LIVE IN THE LOS ANGELES AREA

If you can not drive, do not respond. Must be able to commit to a 3 day work week.

Responsibilities will include;

* Supports coordination of key company projects and office communication (e.g. phone, e-mail, etc.).
* Updates and organizes business reports; performs administrative
responsibilities.
* Assists with graphics duties and needs.
* Supports sales initiatives with boutiques and other partnering vendors.
* Solicits feedback from the owner to understand his issues and
concerns, and to improve the effectiveness of the communication both internally
and externally.
* Maintains updated inventory sheet and work with production team on assortment
and replenishment.
* Supports the editing and compiling of seasonal lookbooks.
* Contributes to online blogs and other potential secondary copywriter
responsibilities.
* Ensures proper packaging, timely deliveries, and tracks shipments closely.
* Handles customer returns, exchanges, and refunds.
* Research industry competitiveness in the given market
* Stays current with fashion business news.

Internship Requirements:

* Prior fashion sales experience preferred.
* Photoshop and other graphics experience preferred.
* Outstanding organizational abilities.
* Strong understanding of industry trends and demonstrated knowledge and proven
ability to identify marketing opportunities.
* Illustrates a dedication to meeting requirements of internal and external
customers, responding to all customer requests promptly and thoroughly.
* Strong communication skills including ability to work in a team environment
gives honest, direct feedback and is a solid verbal and written communicator.
* Meets deadlines, prioritizes appropriately, copes well with change, and
maintains composure under pressure.
* Is accountable for results, approaches obstacles proactively and looks for
ways to resolve problems and issues.
* Strong ability to multi-task and seamlessly move from project to project.
* Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
