I sign them all the time but what is funny I am not their problem, it is the competition out there in the real world. They have to trust people in this industry, way too many hands on everything! Find many so weird and into paperwork they never get off the ground anyway. It is usually just a bad omen they won't succeed. Sounds strange but have found that to be true.

But , it often makes the would be customer feel secure (since they don't know me) , so I don't stress about it too much , and USUALLY sign them .
I have however , seen some forms that are worded in a way that is unfairly biased against me , as the contractor , and I won't sign one like that until the customer changes it . I've never had a customer refuse to do this , if I ask .
The thing is , I believe that the agreements have very little legal standing anyway . So I don't worry about them much , either way .
What I DID find , was a standard NDA form that puts an equal obligation on BOTH parties , so if a customer indicates that they would like an agreement , I offer to have us sign MY form . They usually agree to do this , also .
I guess the bottom line is , that I need to have customers , so if it doesn't cost me anything legally or emotionally , I take the path of least resistance .
Most of the time ;~)
