Need Sample tracking system for Fashioin Photo Department

I'm looking for suggestions for sample tracking system/software - barcoding system for a large creative/photo department. We handle 30k+ sample a year and on average have about 9 photo shoots going on at a time. Need a cost effective simple solution. Any suggestions?
