Looking for a fashion intern

We are a fashion development and production management company providing product services for emerging designers and established brands. We also own an online store for men's custom made shirts produced here in NY.
If you are serious about learning and gaining experience in ALL aspects of the fashion industry and eager to learn the ins and outs of starting and developing a brand than this is the a FANTASTIC  opportunity for you. You will have a hands-on training in the fashion world and take part in working with some of the next big names in the industry. This internship will prepare you for the job market or to start your own line. This can turn into a paying job down the road.

You will be:
Working with pattern makers, sample rooms and factories
Sourcing materials throughout the garment district
Flat Sketching, specs and tech-pack
Pattern making and cutting samples
Preparing PO's cost sheets, cutting tickets

Responding flexibly to various daily challenges

Learn EVERYTHING about the back end of a fashion line! From creating the concept and all the way to the retail floor!

Requirements:
Organized and detailed oriented person with strong work ethic
Sharp and quick learner with great communication skills
An interest in the production side of the fashion industry
Microsoft Office competency (Illustrator and Photoshop a plus)
Internet savvy (social media a plus but not required)

Garment construction (patterns, sewing etc.) a plus but not required
