Meet face-to-face with design recruiters representing the best apparel, footwear, fashion accessories, textile and vertical retail companies in the country. Don't miss out on this one-
day, DESIGN (only) recruiting event.


HOW IS THIS EVENT DIFFERENT FROM OUR REGULAR CAREER FAIRS?

The StyleCareers.com Design Career Fair is for designers only. While we'd love to host an industry-wide recruiting event, market conditions dictate that this event be limited to design.

From the designer's standpoint:

• This event will be LESS CROWDED than our all-industry career fairs.

• Designers have MORE TIME with industry recruiters.

• Exhibiting companies are much more likely to send recruiters who FOCUS on design recruitment and in effect, UNDERSTAND the design process better than those that don't.


TYPICAL JOB TITLES INCLUDE: (but are not limited to)

Designer (all levels), Design Manager, Design Director, VP of Design, CAD Designer, Art Director, Creative Director and anything else you can think of that is design-focused


PRE-REGISTER AT FASHIONCAREERFAIRS.COM

Because of our entry requirements (see below), ALL resumes must be screened before entry. By pre-registering for the career fair, we can screen your resume before the event, allowing you
to skip the on-site registration line. Pre-registering will save you 45 minutes to an hour of wait time. What's more, you'll be able to apply to jobs before the fair!


HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Admission is $15. Tickets will be available at the door, cash only.


CAN'T MAKE IT TO THE CAREER FAIR?

Nothing beats a face-to-face meeting when looking for a job. If however, you can't make it to one of our recruiting events, the StyleCareers.com White Glove Service is the next best thing. Here's how it works:

Mail at least 25 copies of your resume and a check for $49 and we'll hand-deliver your hardcopy information to ALL of the recruiters at the New York FashionCareerFair.

DESIGN CAREER FAIR ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates are required to have a 4 year degree and 2 years design experience

- OR -

a 2 year degree and 4 years design experience

- OR -

Candidates without a degree need to have at least 6 years design experience.


Sorry, store-level retail and non-design positions do not qualify as DESIGN experience. Only candidates with design experience need attend.

All resumes will be screened prior to entry. All designers MUST BRING A PORTFOLIO (no portfolio, no entry). Candidates who do not meet these requirements WILL NOT be admitted.
