Internet week Ny is a major event on the Tech calendar. Traditionally e provide a Brooklyn Venue (this year a pop up shop and show case of a crowd sourced line! However 12 spot are available by a voting process on the main stage... we want to present on the fashion and technology project and showcase or international designers!

We've spent 3-4 hrs and more walking designers through the technology or helping them understand the pricing of their lines, or even helping with the construction of that line! Sometimes at 1-4 Am Originally we worked in Brooklyn, But now via teh internet we work with designers in other countries! Brooklyn FAshion Week's 28squared program also now helps designers in teh Caribbean an d Africa who in turn will help the desigenrs around them! If you've seen teh quality of the products produced by desigenrs in the last Fashion Week! You understand we are NOT just a Fashion Week" We believe technology is vital for TRADE and AID! Few can resist the lure of fashion, for 28 squared, a Brooklyn based project , it has proven the perfect platform on which to “grow” and develop micro entrepreneurs and bridge the digital divide, Project using the internet & Technology to help Independent designers artist & crafters in across the US, in the Caribbean & Africa! When colleagues abroad asked us to help it became the platform for Building aid through trade! As the era of Social TV approaches, it won’t be plug and play as advertised! A group of Local Independent creative’s will speak on the challenges taking on Lights camera action on a housewives’ budget and with cultural and logistical issues Content is king and these global creative have an abundance of it!
