July 2010 Summer Course. Advice!?

Hi!

    I'm considering taking the IMB summer course. I currently live in Florida, USA and have never been to Italy. I'm hoping I can find someone who has experience with IMB and could give a recommendation about the school, the area, and how to find a place to live and costs, heh!

I'm currently an aerospace engineer and want to transition to costume design because I'm more passionate about it. I'm hoping to learn more actual sewing techniques, is this at all taught at IMB?
