The Fashion Industries Favorite Business Network ...

I live in Hinesville,GA which is about and hour from Savannah,GA.  I was wondering if any of you knew of any sewing lessons or classes being offered that are affordable.  I can't seem to find any myself and I have searched the internet countless times!  Thanks

Hi Jordan,

Check with JoAnn Fabric stores, and Hancock Fabric Stores or any craft type store, they usually know of classes that are going on or offer them "in-house". Also purchasing a "How to Sew" book either by Singer or Vogue is a great way to start sewing also. Learning on your own is really not that hard with all that is available. If you don't want to purchase alot of books use your libraries inter-library loan system, they will order you ANY book on ANYTHING from other libraries and its FREE. Also check out magazines such as "Threads", "Vogue Sewing" etc they have great how-to articles. Theres alonger post about this same subject that I posted on another thread, check it out its about getting started with sewing.

Hope this helps.
Happy Sewing
