This is gonna sound stupid but I swear the course is pretty detailed. Penn Foster has a course for about $800.00. You can make monthly payments. The course is set up for a year, but I was done in four months. It shows you how to make your own patterns and everything. Everything is done online. I took the course because I didn't have close access to a college. Also, sewing circles with old ladies and community colleges sometimes have some pretty good stuff.
