Looking for clothing manufacturers in Manchester or London for production of ladies wear - dresses, tops, skirts, pants with a quick turn around. Units are between 80 and 100.

I'm reaching out to the group to seek advice on starting up my own childrenswear label.

If anyone has run their own label or has experience of the industry, could they kindly share their thoughts on the DOs and DON'TS?

I'm currently trying to put a collection together and am conducting research on market trends and consumer behaviour. If anyone knows of sources for this type of data (journals, web sites, surveys), again, this would be gratefully received.
Thank you

Beautiful things and a great web site. Let me know more detail what you need. Surprised you can't find help in southern California, less shipping costs but I would love the extra work! Thanks, Ellen

Hi Camille,
I am almost sure we can do it, I need to talk to my sewers and make sure they are interested, you know already about "hand work" But he has a bunch of people he can call up to do many different jobs. Send me a couple pics ellenkreager@gmail.com and thanks! Ellen

Hi Ellen - do you happen to know of anyone (company or individuals) who would be able to handle hat embellishment work; i.e., crystals, studs, rhinestone trim, etc?

Thanks, Camille
