Color Fashion Photos vs Black and White Fashion Photos

generally, I think in fashion all aspects are important so also color. It depends where are the shots going to be used and for what reason. If they are supposed to show the design then color is important I think.If the shot is supposed to be fashion shot to show only overall feeling of the image then BW can be stronger as it challenge imagination a bit more...I think.

mmm the question is why your are about to shoot , if you are planning to make a campaign i think i haven't limit for do this in accordance with the style of maison , but if you are going to make not a campagin shoot i think is necessary use color for respect to cloth and passion that designer putting to make choice of fabric that can be value only if rapresented correctly

Colour or B/W? It depends. The latter can be brilliant at right circumstances. I am doing a lot 50s and 18th and 19th century costume photography, and I have to say B/W is very nice. If you do a good job people can't tell it is taken now.

On the other hand is the fabric and colours in 18th and 19th century costumes as made for colour.

I guess my answer was similar with Apparel1?
