I am a designer who loves vintage and decorative, ornamental clothing. I am implementing that in my line Gitana Marie, see some of this year's styles @ www.gitanafashions.com and would love opinions. Gitana means gipsy girl in french and wanted to represent a modern, contemporary gipsy girl. A gipsy is very feminine and loves nature so I used earth tones and flowers, furs and feathers etc. To express feminine side I use lace, frills, nets, sheer materials etc.
Our 2009 line is ready to be launched and will be in major fashion shows in US. We will share the pictures shortly in our new website www.mygitana.com, currently under construction.
