What is your favorite Fashion Event?

Do you have a favorite fashion event?

Possibly a favorite event that occurs year after year such as MAGIC, or a one time only fashion designer runway show.

Let us know your favorite fashion events and what has made them your favorite. If you have put on your own event, you are welcome to list that yours is the best... However, please point out that it was your event so that we understand that you are bias when we read your thoughts.

I am thinking back and I think that the first fashion event that I attended was the Heatherette by Richie Rich April 2003 fashion show in Los Angeles. Believe it or not, although I did not know who she was at the time, Nicky Hilton was one of the models.(sister of Paris Hilton). The person that I was with said it was Nicki Hilton, but I had no clue who she was (at that time I also had no clue about Paris Hilton). I am not sure if this was my favorite fashion event, but I have not been to many...

By the way, it does not have to be an event you actually attended. It can be a fashion event that you heard about or saw on video, etc.

Has got to be MR and MRS Runway.... this event is not really about the designers... it's a model competition

I used to enjoy attending GenArt before NYFW. I was very sorry to see them go.

I tent to prefer designers' private fashion show events, but did enjoy the Arise, Carlos Miele and Gottex at NYFW.

You mention GenArt. We also did coverage of a GenArt event in April 2003 in Los Angeles. I was not actually in this event, but a friend attended for me. Here are the photos of that GenArt event April 2003.
