This is Steph from The Fashion Careers Clinic.
I just wanted to share with you that The Fashion Careers Clinic is up and running!
The FCC is the UK's first specialist careers advice service just for fashion designers and those who are looking to get into the industry, and we provide guidance and support on everything from portfolio reviews, CV layout, interview guidance, and how to approach the general job search.
My background is within fashion recruitment, with extensive experience with major agencies, such as 24 Seven and Denza International in London. This experience gave me a unique insight into what major brands look for from the designers they employ (I used to work with Gucci, Burberry, Top Shop, Pringle, Ralph Lauren, DKNY, etc), and I would now like to share all of that knowledge with those who are looking for their dream job in fashion design.
