Yes It exist! An Event targeting Fashion & Technology! This is the second event  with a third planned for LA in May!

Fashioncamp is a community driven event that addresses technology and new Media's impact on all aspect of Fashion & Creative product  life-cycle ! Experts, professionals and Start-ups meet to discuss and explore emerging tools and trends!

As a starting point ...

The closest  analogy I can think of is to liken FashionCamp to an open
design studio (remember those). There are no creative quidelines...
save to identify problem and find solutions,  or reveal discoveries
and find ways of applying them to problems that exist!

There are no boundaries every topic in the product Life Cycle Management, and how technology can affect that, is fair game from being
inspired as in Giana González's Hacking Couture presentation ; new ways of making as in the Makerbot presentation: To new ways of marketing (Macala Wright's Social Media presentation) and delivery as in Shenlei Winkler's Virtual Worlds presentations . 


There are no predefined "mission", save to create an environment that is conducive to exploration, discussion, sharing and discovery of
solutions!

Everyone is welcome and expected to contribute, by participating, leading or helping in sessions!

FashionCamp is generally held over two days, the agenda, dates and venues, like
most other components, is defined and executed by volunteer planners!
anyone is welcome to join the planning by attending planning meeting!

The NY Fashioncamp has evolved into a bi-annual event to coincide with the "fashion' seasons. we also have FashionCampLa, anyone is
welcome to plan and host a Fashioncamp in your area!

jonathanpberger,  has again stepped up organize the NY FashionCamp and 
Macala Wright, will lead FashionCamp LA. If you are interested in starting
a FashionCamp in your are i suggest  you contact us and if possible
attend one of the planned FashionCamps
