Is Alexander McQueen better off dead or alive?
This question is in regard to the Alexander McQueen "BUSINESS", NOT the "person". Clearly the person and the world would be better off if he was alive.
OK, I hope that no one takes this discussion topic the wrong way. This question is really only intended to gain a "business" perspective. In absolutely NO way, do I think that Alexander McQueen (the person) is better off dead. The question is, did his early death help or hinder the legacy of the Alexander McQueen company or brand.
Alexander McQueen has passed away well before his prime. Clearly more great things would have flowed from his great mind. However, no that he is gone will the business survive.
Will the Alexander McQueen brand live on for decades (centuries) to come?
Has the name Alexander McQueen become even more popular after his death?
Will the legacy grow or fade?
What is your opinion?
