I am currently a third year student studying journalism at Southampton Solent University. For our course we are required to design a publication. We need to come up with an idea and create a business plan, considering details professionals would have to consider.

We have decided to create a fashion magazine that is designed for fashion professionals. It will differ from the fashion magazines that would normally be found in newsstands as it will focus on the upcoming season as opposed to the current one, and will also include information regarding the fashion industry i.e. market statistics.

The magazine is still in the very early stages, and we are compiling a reader profile. To do this more accurately and to know more about what our readers would want from the magazine, we have created a reader survey for our audience.
