UniTee Design, Inc. is scheduling The Models-In-UniTee II photo shoot and fashion show in New York City and Atlanta in spring and summer 2009. These live events serve as a program model for FAME (fashion, art, music and education) events throughout the U.S. FAME events rally the community for a greater good, introduce youth to various genres of art, and promote local artists, fashion designers and community / youth resources. We’re currently seeking 12 to 15 new African American / Black male and female models to participate in the MIU events who are between the ages of six to 25 to showcase the “RBG Evolution”, featuring new designs and new colors of UniTee tee-shirts. The MIU New York event will also be used to launch our new spring collection. The 2009 events will serve as "funraisers" to benefit The Model Student Career Development Program for high school students – an initiative that brings the fashion world into schools to mentor students in the various occupations of the fashion industry, and culminates with live fashion shows at participating schools and neighboring community venues. Components of each event include: • a creative promotional advertising campaign that will be promoted via social media, street teams, college and high school advertising. • a photo shoot opportunity for models to build portfolios and obtain electronic press kits • an art exhibit featuring local artists • a fashion show featuring fashion designers and Models-In-UniTee, other models, and audience members (best dressed contests) • live music and spoken word entertainment • an after party with celebrity guests and DJs • vendor / sponsor exhibits For more information, contact R.
