Trunk Boutique Business

I am in the process of starting a boutique that hosts trunk shows, kind of like a drink and shop at nice event centers and lounge areas. Before I finalize things I'd like to get some ideas from a consumer point of view and thoughts on merchandise, business structure and what would attract you to go and shop at one of these events?

I am interested to hear what you find out. For my shows I offer the host points towards fashion goods while her friends shop she is earning product. angelaclay@liberatingstyle.com.
