I recently befriended Leatrice Eiseman President of Pantone the creator of the "Color of the year campaign" she said she travels a lot, watches people, music, movies, the mood of the country, all these thing pile into her brain and out comes the Color of the year and nine other color that compliment each others pants off.

Last August I had a feeling it was going to be between orange or yellow, Neon yellow & Grey Chanel suit side by side opened the show but orange had been the people's color during the Honeysuckle Rose phase. I went shopping at a second hand high end boutique and bought the place out of orange lacoste, orange skirts, all 1/2 off the already 1/2 sticker. I bought a Piazza Sempione tangerine tango jacket pefect color everything, I bought yellows, blues, purple Calvin Klein bright purple pleated dress, and Ideology's slipdress with grey & neon yellow. I hit it right on the mark. I even found a pair of Ralph Lauren black patent leather kitten heels with a neon yellow toe cap for 5 bucks. Go figure. I stood by my gut and won. But does this color thing influence and change the course of someone's ideas or colors they have in mind. Isn't it like cheating?
