PR/Showroom/Assistant Internship

Established Publicist looking for an intern to work as an Assistant doing PR, event planning and potentially wholesale sales in her boutique agency and showroom.

Are you creative, eager to learn, want solid hands on experience and love love love love the business of fashion, accessories and public relations? If so, then please contact me!

Responsibilities include: Correspondence with bloggers, sending out product samples, media list management, clippings booklet, copy- and proof-reading, editorial and client contact, clerical work, showroom up keep, online research and more. Candidates must have good communication and organization skills, be completely computer savvy, preferably with a PC and Microsoft (Word, Excel, Power Point) and some knowledge of an iMac.  Knowledge of social media outlets like Facebook, twitter, blogging, etc. a plus!

Interns must be punctual, responsible, mature, have sound judgment, get along with others and be willing to learn by going outside their current comfort level. You must also be willing to put in hours at least 3 days a week.  We offer college credit. This is an unpaid internship that will send you on your way towards having a great career.
