New Streetwear for UK/European Retailers

Hi my name is Torraine Sears and I'm the clothing representative for Funkey Flash Back Designer Apparel in the UK. We are a American based company who specialises in leather, such as leather jackets, hoodies and sweat suits. In addition to leather, we represent a full line of cut and sew t-shirts, jeans, hoodies, sneakers, polo shirts, jackets and fitted caps All our garments are limited to exclusive runs with 'no re-runs and repeat' policy.

I would like to take the opportunity to show our new line to interested retailers, agents and distributors in the UK and throughout Europe. Please make any useful comments on this matter.

Hi Torraine
I’m going to assume to have your 2011 collections together, if so get in contact with retailers and distributers direct
get the numbers and names of the buyers or head of marketing / PR, let them know that you have a few pieces from your 2011 spring summer collection and you would like to meet up or email pictures and send link to website link

Let them know your sales figures/ who you’re buying audience is (obviously make sure your clientele is their clientele) and why you want to expand to the UK

make it your business to contact at least 10 retailers,10 online boutiques daily get onto as many networking site as possible there are 100's out there ... make sure you have a big presence on the www

Try and get a few more well known’s to wear your garm at the right place and right time
Find out when all the fashion trade shows are happening especially ones that are aimed at buyers
Check out alternative fashion weeks ... London has a great one in April you can get a promotional stall there for next to nothing ...and it is one of the big events in London

Failing that contact a good fashion PR company and let them do it all for you ... HOWEVER I think you can do it all yourself if you have the time... if you need any more advice or assistants you can contact me@

Remember planning is key always plan at least 6 months ahead when dealling with the fashion industry
