Hi Everyone.

I am so grateful for the FIN (Fashion Industry Network) website because Iget to elarn and network with the most experienced, qualified and renonwed FASHION experts.

I need to know where to start. I am from South Africa, recently moved to the US with my husband and daughter. I don't have any experience in this industry but am so passionate about it.

I basically need expert advice as to where I need to start. My vision is to see up coming designers be given the platform to showcast their artwork and designs. There are so many designers back in South Africa that I believe have the potential to sell their products in the global market. I want to start a company that acts as a bridge for them . So many are disadvantaged but have so much potential to WOW the international Market!!! PLS HELP anyone...where can I stat?

I am looking into attending the myshopnyc workshop  in Feb/March in Atl/L.A, which shares knowledge on how to start a fashion Company.

Any other ideas??? Thank you all in advance for your responses.
