Basically, I run a small boutique, but in this lockdown, I also open an online store to sell dresses and accessories. Though I have an option on the store to purchase directly but usually potential buyers prefer to ask a few details via the contact form. I receive their messages in my mailbox, but from few days, I noticed that I am getting too many spam signups and mails.
It made me crazy, and I am about to lose my potential customers. In the beginning, I used ReCaptcha, but it is not only stopping spam but also making problems for my potential clients. That's why I am thinking to use IP blocking technique after watching this stop spam signups video. Do you think it will work?
Similarly, it is looking easy to block IPs of these spambots but is there a chance of decrement in my store's traffic etc.? If you have any other option, then you can share with me. I am waiting for your suggestions.
